The new survey of US LBM coaches is in, and the top looks a little different.
Georgia retains the top spot, but the Bulldogs’ lead has become more fragile after a narrow win at Kentucky by just one point. UGa received 42 of 55 first-place votes this week, which is more than enough to keep the lead, but a few votes less than a week ago. Most of the top votes went to Texas, which edged just ahead of Ohio State for No. 2. The Longhorns received 10 first-place votes, while the Buckeyes received the remaining three.
The next three spots remain unchanged as No. 4 Alabama, No. 5 Mississippi and No. 6 Oregon hold their spots. Tennessee jumps to No. 7, overtaking Missouri and Penn State, who are tied for eighth. Utah once again rounds out the top 10.

The rest of the poll shows only minor shifts and few real surprises. Arizona falls out of the rankings after a crucial loss to No. 14 Kansas State and Washington drops out after a loss to Apple Cup rival Washington State.
Texas A&M returns to the rankings at No. 24 and UNLV is ranked No. 25, the first time in program history it has appeared in the coaches poll.
