The upcoming film by George Clooney and Brad Pitt Wolves is their first screen collaboration in sixteen years. Wolves is an upcoming psychological thriller with Ocean’s Eleven alumni George Clooney and Brad Pitt, which is scheduled to be released on September 20, 2024. Produced by Apple Original Films, Wolves will also be available to stream exclusively on Apple TV+ on an unspecified date.

Wolves follows Clooney’s Jack and Pitt’s Nick as two lone wolves who get the same job. The film also stars Amy Ryan (Away, baby, away, Bridge of Spies, Birdman), Poorna Jagannathan (Big little lies, The night of, Ramy), Austin Abrams (euphoria, Paper towns, this is us) and Richard Kind (Argo, from the inside to the outside, A serious man). Burn After Reading was directed by the Coen brothers

The last collaboration between Pitt and Clooney in a feature film was the 2008 satirical black comedy. Burn after readingwritten and directed by the legendary filmmaking duo, the Coen brothers (No country for old men, True determination). Burn after reading follows two gym employees trying to sell a mysterious disk containing confidential CIA information. The last collaboration between Pitt and Clooney was technically the television broadcast of 8tha Broadway play that recreates the closing arguments in the Perry v. Schwarzenegger case that led to the repeal of Proposition 8.

Clooney starred in several films in the 2000s, including all three parts of the Steven Soderbergh ocean Trilogy. They both appeared in 2002 Confessions of a dangerous mindwritten by Charlie Kaufman (Forget Me Not!), although Clooney played a lead role while Pitt and Matt Damon played unnamed bartenders. In addition, both Clooney and Pitt were voice actors in John Krasinski’s IF, but Wolves is intended to offer the two Hollywood legends a much more fitting reunion on the big screen.

According to the trailer, the bitter rivalry between Clooney and Pitt’s fixers promises plenty of sharp and witty exchanges. The action comedy also looks to feature plenty of thrilling shootouts and car chases, making it a worthy film to watch for the long-awaited reunion of Pitt and Clooney. WolvesIn contrast to “Wolves,” it highlights the fact that Pitt and Clooney’s characters are not partners and must work together to stay alive.
