Listen to the latest single from London-based violinist von Müller, known for his experimental adventures with the slide guitar. “Radar Truck” is a mixture of blues guitar and Müller’s cosmic sound explorations. Using only his acoustic guitar, Müller creates a series of sounds and rhythms and takes us on a sound journey with real groove. The “Radar Truck” in the song’s title refers to the classic Lego space series featured in several of Müller’s videos. One of the key messages is that this toy series prioritizes exploration over conflict, and there are no weapons available in the original sets – something to think about in our turbulent times.
Geiger told AUK about the song and video: “It’s important to note that the radar car in the title is not a science fiction military vehicle. It’s a meteorological vehicle. The symbolic lightning effects in the video reflect that and are reminiscent of weather conditions in space.”
