Game updates, live scores in college football

The Texas Tech football team will look to find success on the road this week when the Red Raiders travel to Pullman to face Washington State on Saturday at 9 p.m. on FOX.

The Red Raiders held off Abilene Christian 52-51 in overtime in last week’s season opener, but their defense, which allowed more than 550 yards of offense to their FCS opponent, raises many questions. The Cougars, on the other hand, beat Portland State 70-30 in their first game of the season.

Texas Tech is traveling on the road for the only time in its first five games. Tech last won its first road game of the season in 2018, when the Red Raiders defeated 15th-ranked Oklahoma State 41-17. This will be the first meeting between the Red Raiders and the Cougars in 60 years. The last meeting was on November 14, 1964.
