Disney showed the first clip of its live-action adaptation of the 1937 animated classic at D23 on Friday. Snow White, which will be released in cinemas on March 21, 2025.
Gal Gadot said of her on-screen antagonist: “She’s evil, she’s magical, she’s delicious.”
Rachel Zegler introduced the clip, telling the crowd at the Honda Center that it was a classic. In fact, it was she and the dwarves singing “Whistle While You Work.” Snow White is in the dwarves’ house, dancing and cleaning in a crystalline falsetto.
They then showed the trailer with images of Gadot putting on the crown, doing the mirror mirror game, picking Zegler apples, and Gadot turning into an evil witch. It’s a perfect, living recreation of the original film.

The story is based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale and is about a princess who is rescued by seven dwarf miners and takes Snow White into her household after she is banished to a dangerous forest by her evil stepmother.
Marc Webb (The Amazing Spiderman And 500 days of summer) directed by a screenplay by Barbie‘s Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson, with Marc Platt as producer. Tony winner Andrew Burnap plays a new male lead character. The original songs for the film are by Oscar winner LaLaLand Duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
