“Ruthless revenge in its purest form!” “Epic emotions! Raw rage! Primal courage!” Ohh, hell yes! As a sequel to India’s RRR And Kalki 2898 AD And Brahmāstra There’s another new heroic epic to enjoy. And it looks awesome! Kanguva is a new action film from the Tamil cinema Kollywood, produced by the filmmaker known as Shivaand it is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide in October this fall. The Indian action hero Suriya plays Kanga, the central hero. Not much is known about the plot (Indian films keep everything secret until they hit theaters), only that it spans hundreds of years and that the hero Kanga has to complete “an unfinished mission.” The cast includes Bobby Deol And Sabine Krueger (in her first Tamil films) with Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai SaralaAnd Anandaraj. The director says it’s not a real fantasy film, but rather a historical action epic with real people – no superheroes, gods or superpowers this time. All of this footage looks incredible! A story spanning 500 years from the 18th century to 2023 about a hero (with Suriya as Kanga) who must complete an unfinished mission. “The Tamil word Kangu means fire and Kanguva means a man with the power of fire,” explains Siva. “The mythological backdrop might lead someone to think this is a fantasy.
