The Emmy Awards brought fashion, drama, comedy – and a few surprises – to our screens on Sunday night.
No, you’re not imagining things. This is the second Emmy ceremony this year, eight months after the 75th Primetime Emmys, which were postponed last year due to strikes by writers and actors.
FX’s “Shōgun,” Netflix’s “Baby Reindeer,” Max’s “Hacks” and FX’s “The Bear” were among the night’s biggest winners. After winning 14 awards at the Creative Arts Emmys last weekend, historical drama “Shōgun” took home another four tonight, giving it a total of 18 trophies. On Sunday, restaurant comedy (dramedy?) “The Bear” and psychological thriller “Baby Reindeer” won four times, giving them a total of 11 and 6 trophies, respectively, in 2024, while Jean Smart-directed comedy “Hacks” took home three.
