DJ Uiagalelei talks about his first start at FSU and the game against Georgia Tech in Dublin, Ireland
Florida State wide receiver Hykeem Williams will miss the Seminoles’ season opener against Georgia Tech.
The sophomore was named to Florida State’s initial roster but will not be available for the season opener due to injury. Williams was named behind starter Malik Benson and listed as the backup to Kentron Poitier.
He is expected to return to action soon.
Williams is a former five-star prospect and top-100 recruit out of Stranahan in Fort Lauderdale.
He played limited games at FSU during his freshman season, recording 80 yards on five catches in eight games, including one touchdown.
FSU will begin the regular season in Dublin, Ireland against Georgia Tech. The game is scheduled to kick off at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
