Friends of the Goodman South Madison Library hosts book sale on August 24 | Madison Public Library
MADISON, WI – The Friends of Goodman South Madison Library will host a sale of used and donated books, DVDs and CDs on Saturday, August 24th from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The sidewalk sale will take place in front of the Goodman South Madison Library, 2222 S. Park Street, weather permitting, and will include items for all ages.
Stocks of clearance items will be replenished throughout the day and there will be a bag sale from 2pm-3pm for $5 per bag. Friends can only accept cash or checks.
Included in the price:
- Hardcover books $2
- Paperbacks $1
- Hardcover children’s books $1
- Paperbacks and board books for children, $50
- CDs, DVDs and audiobooks on CD 1 USD
The event will coincide with the opening of the Black Business Hub and the 10th Annual Unity Picnic, which will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Parking is available on the north lot of the Villager Mall.
