KATY, TX (Reporting from Katy News) – The Friends of the Cinco Ranch Library Branch will host a Fall Book Flea Market on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the library meeting room, 2620 Commercial Center Blvd. in Katy.
Book lovers, bargain hunters and anyone with a little extra cash to spend will enjoy the sale. Books for adults and children are offered at unbeatable prices. Most items are available for $1 or less. Cash or checks are accepted.
New releases, fiction, non-fiction, children’s books and classics as well as DVDs and CDs are available for sale.
Donations of used books are always welcome and can be dropped off at the library during regular hours throughout the year. Textbooks are also accepted.
Items that cannot be accepted include cassettes, VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs, encyclopedias, medical, legal or computer books older than 2019, as well as books that are damp, moldy, dirty or infested with insects.
The Friends of the Cinco Ranch Branch Library is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation. Donations and contributions to the Friends are tax deductible.
The organization plays a critical role in funding library programs, such as the Summer Reading Challenge for children. Proceeds from book sales and annual membership dues also help cover the costs of special programs and various cultural events at the Cinco Ranch library branch.
