Food truck operator opens restaurant in Tucson this year

A Tucson food truck opens a brick-and-mortar store.

El Hefe Street Food LLC has leased 9,000 square feet of space in the Orange Grove Village shopping center at 6435 N. Oracle Road.

The business originally opened in 2021 as a food truck at Comida Park inside the Tanque Verde Swap Meet, 4100 S. Palo Verde Road, serving Mexican desserts, ice cream, shakes and coffee. Savory snacks include hot dogs, nachos and wings.

The opening of the new restaurant is planned for November.
