Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix, who will soon reprise his role as Arthur Fleck in Todd Phillips’ Joker: Foil A Deuxis facing fierce reactions in Hollywood after deciding to drop out of a film just days before filming was scheduled to begin.

Phoenix reportedly abruptly dropped out of director Todd Haynes’ untitled gay romance last week, leaving the cast and crew in the lurch. The exact reason for his exit is unclear, but reports suggest the actor “got cold feet leading up to production.”
