Five Tech linemen on the Senior Bowl Watch List – Football — Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

THE APARTMENTS – Five Tech linemen – offensive linemen – illustrate the development of Georgia Tech football in the trenches Weston Franklin (Jesup, Ga./Wayne County) and Jordan Williams (Gainesville, Ga./Gainesville HS) and defensive player Zeek Biggers (Salisbury, NC/West Rowan HS), Kevin Harris II (Loganville, Ga./Grayson HS) and Sylvain Yondjouen (Ruisbroek, Belgium/Don Bosco School) – were named to the official watch list for the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl, announced Wednesday.

The Senior Bowl staff used nearly eight months of studying tape recordings and input from coaches to identify the top college football prospects for the 2025 National Football League Draft and place them on the watch list. Widely considered college football’s preeminent all-star game, the Senior Bowl is the longest continuously running game, held in Mobile, Alabama, for 75 years. More than 900 NFL personnel and over 1,100 media members were accredited for the 2024 Senior Bowl, which produced 110 selections for the 2024 NFL Draft, representing 43 percent of this year’s total selections.

Since 1951, 60 former Yellow Jackets have participated in the Senior Bowl. Most recently, defensive lineman Keion White represented Georgia Tech at the 2023 Senior Bowl before being selected by the New England Patriots in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

The 2025 Senior Bowl will be played on February 1 in Mobile.

In addition to the Senior Bowl watch list, the official preseason watch list for the 2024 Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award was also released on Wednesday and included Georgia Tech redshirt junior quarterback Haynes King (Longview, Texas/Longview HS). The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award recognizes college football’s best offensive player who played high school or college football in the state of Texas.

The honor is the latest in a long line of preseason accolades for King, who is also on the official nominee list for the Maxwell Award (national player of the year) and three national quarterback of the year awards – the Davey O’Brien Award, the Manning Award and the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.

Georgia Tech opens the 2024 season on Saturday against No. 10 Florida State in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET and the game will be televised nationally on ESPN.
