First participants announced for the 2025 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo isn’t for another six months, but the organization has officially announced some key performers for the rodeo’s return in 2025.

The rodeo begins on February 6, 2025 and ends on February 23, 2025 at the Frost Bank Center and Freeman Coliseum.

Four artists – country musicians Keith Urban, Dwight Yoakam, Diamond Rio and Zach Top – are expected to take the rodeo stage next February.

Next year’s rodeo will be Urban’s third appearance in San Antonio in the last five years. He performed in matinee and evening performances at the 2020 and 2023 editions of the rodeo.

In 2025, Urban will also perform after the rodeo show on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at noon and 7:30 p.m.

Top, a 26-year-old artist, performed in San Antonio earlier this year. The Sunnyside, Washington native played a set at Sam’s Burger Joint near Pearl on April 18.

Following a bull riding event, the rodeo announced that Top will take the stage at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

Diamond Rio is also expected to return to the stage at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. The band performed during the 2003 rodeo at what was then the SBC Center, months after the band members released their 2002 album titled “Completely.”

The band will perform on Monday, February 17, 2025 at 7 p.m.

Yoakam, a two-time Grammy Award winner, will be another big name returning to the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. He will have the rodeo stage’s final Saturday night all to himself on February 22, 2025 at 7:30 p.m.

Rodeo officials said tickets are on sale now at sarodeo.com or ticketmaster.com.
