The City of Sparks will offer the next 100 free trees to Sparks residents on Monday, September 16th at 9am

Residents can pick up a voucher at Sparks Parks and Recreation, 98 Richards Way, beginning Monday, August 12. Offices are open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You must present a valid driver’s license and a recent electric/gas bill as proof of Sparks residency.

After picking up a voucher, residents can redeem it at Moana Nursery at 3397 Pyramid Way. Vouchers must be redeemed by November 21st.

Six tree species are offered on a first come, first served basis. Trees include Burgundy Belle Maple, Autumn Blaze Maple, Royal Raindrops Flowering Crag, Herb Vesuvius Plum, Chanticlee Pear and Redspire Pear.

Residents are obliged to plant their trees.
