Finalists for the 2024 National Truck Driving Championship announced

Indianapolis, Indiana – 45 professional drivers have made it to the finals of the National Truck Driving and Step Van Driving Championships, which will be held this year at the Indiana Convention Center.

Known as the “Super Bowl of Safety,” these annual competitions date back to 1937 and inspire tens of thousands of drivers to drive accident-free to compete in the event. This year’s competitors have logged a total of 685 million accident-free miles over the course of their careers.

“Over the past few days, the nation’s best professional truck drivers have competed head-to-head to demonstrate their mastery of the rules of the road, meticulous attention to detail and exceptional skill on the challenging courses,” said Patti Gillette, NTDC chair and Nevada Trucking Association director of safety and member services. “We commend all of the state champions who made it to Indianapolis, congratulate all of the drivers moving on to the final round and thank all of this week’s participants for their commitment to safety.”

Of the 422 riders from 49 states, the following 45 participants have qualified for the Bendix Grand Championship:
