Final Season Contestants Revealed by Pat Sajak

Pat Sayak takes one last round (for real this time). Wheel of Fortune And a literal victory lap is emerging.

It will be the last time Sajak will host. The season premieres on Monday, October 14th at 8pm ET on ABC and Hulu.

As wheel watchers know, Sajak has already been replaced by Ryan Seacrest as host of the syndicated game show. He’s coming back Only the outsourcing to fulfill the contract. Celebrity guests compete weekly to win $1 million (for a charity of their choice).

EW got the first look Celebrity Wheel of Fortune new season on Thursday, October 3rd. In the trailer, Sajak explains: “Get ready for an all-new season of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” while standing side by side with his longtime counterpart Vanna White. The iconic mystery presenter dazzled in a silver dress with a striking sheer V-neck and they seem thrilled to be reunited. The special was included during the revision WoF set, and you can see them as you exit the new sliding door entrance. “Big names, big laughs and big profits for charity,” promises White.

Included are shots of the celebrity candidates, and you can expect plenty of star power. Quite a few of the contestants are television favorites that many fans may remember from the Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch.

Guests include Rainn Wilson, Ellie Kemper and Oscar Nuñez from The Office, Josh Gad, Justin Long and Rachael Harris from New Girl, and Sam Richardson, Randall Park and Matt Walsh from Veep. Also starring are Tiffany Haddish and Regina Hall of Girls Trip, as well as Joe Manganiello, Katharine McPhee, Andrew Rannells, Pete Holmes and Cameron Brink. The rest is still to be announced.

Longtime fans were initially confused by the news that Sajak would be returning, as he had largely stepped away from the nightly show. After 41 years, this is Sajak’s emotional last episode as host of WoF aired on June 7, 2024. Sajak handed over the moderation duties to Seacrest – just not for the celebrity edition. He’s tied to another season of Celebrity WoF, so fans are getting another dose of classic Sajak snark.

Since retiring, Pat has won the 2024 Emmy for Best Game Show Host, while Ryan could certainly do worse in his place. He has kept his ratings steady and then some; When Season 42 debuted, he had his strongest week in five years.

Wheel of Fortune has been on the air since 1975 Celebrity Wheel of Fortune – compared to Celebrity Danger! – is relatively new. The special has only been broadcast since 2021. While “Celebrity WoF” doesn’t have as many painful misses as the nightly show, it did have an all-timer last season thanks to NFL player Rashad Jennings and the wrong guess Puentin Tarrantino.
