The New York Giants picked up a much-needed win on Sunday, defeating the Cleveland Browns 21-15. Both teams are 1-2.

The Giants trailed 7-0 after two plays – a fumble by New York’s Eric Gray on the opening kickoff and a 24-yard touchdown pass from Cleveland’s Deshaun Watson to Amari Cooper. The Giants scored 21 straight points, took control and held on in the second half.

Malik Nabers was the Giants’ star, catching eight balls for 78 yards and scoring two touchdowns.

Daniel Jones completed 24 of 34 passes for 236 yards and two touchdowns.

Devin Singletary ran 16 times for 65 yards.

The Browns came within 21-15 with 11:33 minutes left on a 6-yard touchdown pass to Amari Cooper and a 2-point conversion pass to Jerry Jeudy.

With 3:00 minutes left, new kicker Greg Joseph missed a 48-yard field goal attempt that would have secured the win.

The Giants made a stop, then ran out the clock thanks to a 43-yard run by Devin Singletary, securing their first win.
