Tyrone Wood and Faye Harris chose 180 guests to celebrate their second wedding in Ireland, including famous family members such as Iron Maiden star Steve Harris and Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood.
Several photos shared exclusively with HELLO! magazine show the bride sharing special moments with her new father-in-law at the ceremony and wedding breakfast. In the first photo, they prepare to embrace outdoors after the ceremony.
Later that day, Faye sat at the table of honor, holding Ronnie’s hand, surrounded by white flowers. They seemed to be deep in conversation, and Ronnie was probably welcoming her into the family.
Ronnie later told HELLO!: “It was a fabulous day – fantastic and beautiful. It was the coming together of two families and the coming together of two musical dynasties. There was a real bond with so many lovely people.”
Father of the bride Steve also described the ceremony as “very down to earth” and added: “They are a wonderful family. Faye looks really in love, she is radiant and very happy.”
Although Faye did not reveal any information about her private conversations with Ronnie, she recalled a memorable moment with her father as he prepared to walk her down the aisle.
“I had this little moment with my dad as we were getting ready to go in,” said Faye, who looked gorgeous in a silk Elizabeth Fillmore gown with an embellished sheer overlay. “He tucked my veil into his arm because it was getting so windy and said, ‘Yeah, go ahead, I’ll take care of you.'”
Family honors
The couple met on celebrity dating app Raya and had their first date in a pub in north London in September 2022.
Things quickly became serious and despite the fact that Tyrone had hinted to Faye that he was unsure about marriage, they began talking about starting a family.
He changed his mind about walking down the aisle when her sister Lauren got married in Bordeaux in September 2023. After telling her mother the news on the dance floor, Tyrone proposed with a diamond ring from his mother Jo.
He knelt under an oak tree in Ronnie’s Irish home, Sandymount House, which had stood in the garden since he was six years old.
“My father lived here, I grew up here and it has always had a special place in my heart,” said the groom. The couple returned to the family home for their second wedding, which took place just days after their civil ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London.
Tyrone and Faye exchanged wedding rings that his parents had left him. “When I told my mother I wanted to marry Faye, she said, ‘Please take my ring – I want to keep it,'” Tyrone recalled.
“It was a nice gesture, so I took it to my dear friends Stephen and Assia Webster. They melted it down and we turned it into a modern classic. It’s been given new life and is part of the family.”
