Fascinated by his basketball skills, Stephen Curry makes a footballer’s wedding dream come true

Stephen Curry exceeded all expectations again during a US national team practice session in Paris when he fired the ball from the halfway line. The ball flew high, touched the parquet once, bounced a second time and flew effortlessly through the net. Curry successfully performed this exercise three times in a row and hardly broke a sweat. “You just have to feel it,” Curry responded with confidence when asked how he did it. When social media influencers recreated the shot, Curry responded with awe.

Popular Instagram influencer and soccer star Luke Trotman, along with his girlfriend, effortlessly recreated Curry’s shot and posted the video online to celebrate their wedding. “We saw Stephen Curry sink that one, we had to recreate it,” Trotman said. The post immediately went viral and caught Curry’s attention. “Ayyyyyyye, I see you”, Curry responded in the comments and expressed his joy that the difficult shot was executed flawlessly.

Trotman is a soccer player from Luton, England and has played for his hometown club Luton City. He has played for the England C team and is often seen on social media wearing the England soccer team shirt to show his support. Trotman also has a strong online presence and is often seen posting basketball-related content on Instagram.

This is not the first time Curry has surprised his fans. Just like his passion for basketball, the Golden State Warriors Star has repeatedly expressed his devotion to his fan base.

The perfect role model – Steph Curry takes his fans seriously

When Stephen Curry isn’t playing basketball, he spends much of his time thanking his fans. Last month, Curry was in London as part of the U.S. Olympic tour and visited a clothing store. The exchange between him and a fan was heartwarming.

When Curry saw a fan picking out his jersey, he encouraged her to buy it and said “I think this is the best (jersey) here.” The fan agreed, bought the jersey, and Curry signed it and took a photo with her. Additionally, Curry surprised fans again in May by taking on the role of a bartender during the BottleRock Napa Valley music festival, pouring drinks to fans in the Platinum Lounge.

Last year, after an Arizona sophomore’s shot from the halfway line went viral, Curry paid him a surprise visit and gifted him tickets to a game between the Warriors and the Phoenix Suns. There are several instances where Curry dedicates a significant portion of his busy schedule to fans.

Here Curry seems to be inspired by Kobe Bryantwho once said: “The most important thing is to try to inspire people to do great things in whatever they want to do.”
