Mariska Hargitay is clearly into the upcoming autumn mood – but after posting several similar pictures in a row with the changing foliage over the weekend without any explanation, fans were a bit confused.

The Law & Order: SVU star began with a snapshot of vines full of leaves covering a brick wall. Some were still showing their normal, deep green hues, while others were starting to turn yellow, and even more had turned a purplish red tone.

Fans liked the “absolutely beautiful picture ❤️❤️”, with one emphasizing: “It’s the little things that make life beautiful 🙌🏼❤️.”

“Beautiful! I love the autumn mood! 🥰🍁,” said another, while someone else agreed: “So here for the fall vibes 🍂.”

“Autumn is the time of magical, cozy hugs and warm cups. Thank you for sharing this with us beauty,” they added.

Hargitay soon followed up with an almost identical snapshot, before uploading a third and final, slightly blurry photo that zoomed in on a much smaller section of the plants and wall.

While one fan called it an “even more stunning close-up” and another celebrated a “triple post 🫶” from the actress, many also seemed a little confused by the series of photos.

“I love photography and am a fan of close-ups etc. But your back-to-back posts are confusing me?” said one commenter. “It’s like far, closer, close? 😅🥹 Anyway, they’re beautiful🍂🍁.”

“Nice picture but we need to see your face 😓🤌🏻,” begged another, while someone else asked: “Did you want to post all this?”

Some expressed concerns that she might have been hacked or that something else would cause Hargitay to post “the same picture three times,” while others said it was simply a glimpse of her personality.

“You’re silly. 😂,” one said, while another called it an extension of “(Mariska’s camera roll) 📸.”

Despite being in the middle of filming the hit crime thriller, Hargitay spent much of the summer traveling and delighting fans with other glimpses of her camera roll as they played “Where in the World is Mariska Hargitay” and attempted to achieve their goals identify.
