‘Extreme Makeover’ star dies 10 days after knife attack in Palm Springs

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Star Eduardo Xol has died ten days after he was stabbed to death in an apartment in Palm Springs, California.

Xol, 58, was pronounced dead at Desert Regional Medical Center on Friday, Sept. 20, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department confirmed.

His death occurred 10 days after the 58-year-old called 911 in the early hours of September 10 to say he needed help. People reported.

When officers arrived at the scene of an apartment building on East Arenas Road in Palm Springs, they found the television star with numerous stab wounds.

Palm Springs police said TMZ that Xol suffered “serious injuries” and was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center in “serious but stable condition.”

Richard Joseph Gonzales, a 34-year-old from Cathedral City, California, was initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

After Xol’s death, Gonzalez was charged with murder.

It is unclear what connection the two men have. Police confirmed People that they were “employees”.
