• Mother of Sorrows Parish is offering a free seminar entitled “Expressing Gratitude” with Dennis C. Daley on August 13 from noon to 1 p.m. in the parish hall, 4202 Old William Penn Highway. It will take place. Plan to arrive by 11:30 a.m. Bring a packed lunch. Refreshments will be provided.

• Living Word Congregational Church, 2003 Ridge Road, Penn Township, hosts a Second Mile Prayer and Communion Service at the church Monday through Saturday at 11 a.m.

Conferences

• The South Hills Coin Club meets at 7:30 p.m. on August 13 at the Bethel Park Municipal Building, 5100 W. Library Ave. The program will be themed around the 1715 shipwreck. News for seniors
