Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and his girlfriend Bryonna “Bry” Burrows sparked engagement rumors on Friday night after they were spotted cozying up on the sidelines of his NFL game — and she was wearing a huge rock The Finger.
In a photo shared by a fan on X, the two were seen seemingly about to kiss, with Burrows placing her hand on his cheek, giving viewers a clear view of what appeared to be a giant diamond ring.
“Our good sister Bry Burrows got her ring! Congratulations to her and Jalen Hurts!” the fan wrote next to the snapshot.
Several other fans also congratulated the couple – although they did not confirm the alleged engagement.
“Wish you luck… 🤩😍🥰,” tweeted one user.
“Happy Heffa! Congratulations! 🤍,” wrote another.
The wife of Eagles cornerback Darius Slay, Jennifer Slay, also fueled the speculation by quoting the photo and Saying“Oh my god, they’re engaged 😍😍😍.”
Others commented on the size of Burrows’ alleged engagement ring. One wrote: “That thing has a lot of weight!”
“This thing has its own zip code!!!” said another.
Page Six reached out to Hurts’ rep about the engagement rumors but did not receive an immediate response.
Hurts, 26, confirmed his relationship with Burrows when he took the field holding her hand following the Eagles’ NFC Championship victory in January 2023.
“I’m not married or anything, but I’m taken,” he confirmed in an interview with Essence in April of the same year.
However, the star quarterback admitted that he “knew for a long time” that Burrows was the right fit for him.
“I mean, up to this point in my life, it’s an irreplaceable feeling,” he enthused. “I think that’s what allowed us to get to where we are now.”
The two met when they were both studying at the University of Alabama and occasionally met. According to her LinkedIn profile, Burrows has been working at IBM for about five years and is a partner in the field of artificial intelligence.
They keep their relationship almost entirely out of the spotlight, but she never misses an opportunity to support her boyfriend.
They were all smiles as they walked the red carpet at the Time100 Next Gala in October 2023.
