DVIDS – News – Why I serve: Tech. Sgt. Bradford Scott

“I serve the tradition, the teamwork and the purpose of making a difference in the world. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to wear the uniform, and I mean that sincerely. It has given me the best opportunity of my life.”

Tech Sgt. Bradford Scott is a ground security specialist assigned to the 911th Airlift Wing. In 2002, he began his service by following in his father and grandfather’s footsteps and joining the Army Reserve as a military policeman. In April 2019, he transferred to the Air Force Reserve in search of a new challenge and a new career. With a total of 22 years of service, Scott deployed on multiple tours in Afghanistan, supporting missions such as the International Security Assistance Force, its successor, Resolute Support, and Operation Allies Refuge.
