Drew Barrymore called her agent about Zoe Kravitz directing Charlie’s Angels
Ring, ring! A Charlie’s Angels A reboot may officially be imminent.
When visiting The Drew Barrymore Show on Tuesday, Flash twice Director Zoe Kravitz expressed her love for the film series – which starred Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu – and her dream of directing a possible reboot.
“Can I just say? I don’t know what the plan is, but if there is a Charlie’s Angels “If I were to direct a reboot, that would be my dream,” Kravitz admitted. “Like, my dream. Those are my favorite movies – I even called my agent about it.”

But in a truly wild twist of fate, a completely surprised Barrymore also had some news of her own to share.
“It’s really funny that you say that, because I called my agent too and asked, ‘Would Zoe ever consider…'” she began. To which an agitated Kravitz replied, “Shut up. Shut up! Shut up!”
“I’m not kidding!” shouted Barrymore. “Because C3 Angels for Harley is all about mixing sounds! Let’s go!”
The two hugged excitedly and then assured each other that they had indeed contacted their respective agents about this possibility.
“I can’t believe you’re saying that,” Barrymore said. Kravitz replied, “I can’t believe we just made a deal on TV!”

Based on the television series of the same name. Charlie’s Angels followed three elite private detectives (Barrymore, Diaz and Liu) who are entrusted with a dangerous mission by their mysterious millionaire boss Charlie (voiced by John Forsythe). The trio also starred in a 2001 sequel, Charlie’s Angels – Full Throttle. A reboot of the series – starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska – was released later in 2019.
Barrymore has spoken openly about her interest in a third Charlie’s Angels film over the years and revealed on her podcast that if given the opportunity to reprise her role as Dylan Sanders, she would “always say yes.” She has also recruited her fellow Angels to join her show over the years, including during the season one premiere.
