Don’t miss out on all the fun Nashville Oktoberfest has to offer!

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) – Oktoberfest is finally here!

From Thursday, October 3rd through Sunday, October 7th, Nashville’s annual Oktoberfest will take over 10 blocks of Germantown!

You can enjoy good food, beer and tons of activities! Are you thinking about heading further down? We are here for you.

What kind of events are taking place?

For $35 you can attend one Stone Holding Competition! There will be three competitions on Friday and Saturday, followed by one on Sunday. You can register for a specific period by clicking here!

There will also be one available for $35 Brat Eating Contest! You get two fully loaded brats and an ice cold beer to wash them down. There are also three competitions on Friday and Saturday, followed by one on Sunday.

Do you love puppies? Join us Puppy parade on Saturday for just $25. All dogs are welcome to take part!

Want more animals? Check out the Dachshund Derby at the southern end of the Bicentennial!

Looking for more drinks? Sessions will be held at Nashville Oktoberfest’s exclusive whiskey tasting event Saturday at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. and October 6th at 2 p.m

How much does it cost to visit Oktoberfest?

General admission is $10! Children up to 3 years have free entry!

Where can I park?

Street parking is available around Germantown, but there are no dedicated parking lots.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes!

Will there be live music?

NATURALLY! Be sure to visit the stages to hear Chill Pill, Alex Shor, Strollin Joe, Fly2k or the Oompah-Calypse Oktoberfest Band.

Middle Tennessee schools will receive the National Blue Ribbon for Academic Excellence in 2024

There are many great schools in our area. Congratulations to four midstate schools that have been recognized with National Blue Ribbons for Academic Excellence. They were among six in Tennessee to receive the honor. They were among 356 schools in the United States recognized by the U.S. Department of Education!
