Consumers were thrilled by a viral Halloween knockoff from Dollar Tree that sold for less than $2.

Shoppers said Dollar Tree’s hanging ghoul decoration was well worth the $1.25 price tag, compared to a similar product at Target that costs $10.

According to Dollar Tree’s website, Dollar Tree’s ghoul decoration has received several positive reviews.

“It’s very cute and perfect for a small cemetery. I added a stake so it can stand upright,” one consumer reviewed.

So far, the product has received two five-star reviews.

Although inflation fell 0.1 percent in June, Americans still feel the need to keep their budgets tight.

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics confirmed the slight decline and announced a new 12-month inflation rate of 3%.

Consumer prices fell in June, but are still 3% higher than a year ago.

In May, the interest rate remained constant at 3.4%, making this month one of the lowest in over three years.

Nevertheless, consumers said they were concerned about the price increases and many of them were looking for quality products at an affordable price.

Several shoppers said Dollar Tree offers a wide variety of products while maintaining its tempting prices.

“Honestly, I love the $5 section at Dollar Tree, especially the seasonal stuff,” one shopper wrote on Reddit.

“A lot of it is really cute and a steal at only five dollars. I can’t wait to browse through it soon!”

Another buyer said he recently started going back to this dealer because of the low prices.

“Ooooh and the price! I haven’t been to Dollar Tree in a long time. Back then things were 1.25. I might have to go and see what they’ve added to the new prices,” they wrote online.

However, several competing retailers are selling similar products for the upcoming spooky season.

Target’s Mini Light Up Witch Halloween Ghoul is currently selling online for $10 with a rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars.

“This hanging Halloween decoration features a posable green-fingered witch ghoul wearing a tattered black robe and a glowing face,” the description reads.

The retailer also stated that its Halloween prop comes with a cord attached for easy hanging.

Nevertheless, consumers said they would continue to visit the discount store until Target could adjust its significantly lower prices.
