Dollar Tree shoppers are scrambling for “very pretty” home goods – and they’re 12 times cheaper than Pottery Barn
DOLLAR Tree is a resource for many looking for cheaper versions of expensive brands.
A small candle holder attracts attention as an imitation of a more expensive item from Pottery Barn.
The dollar store chain offers small glass tealight holders at reasonable prices.
They look similar to a Pottery Barn product but are more expensive.
THE PRODUCT
According to Dollar Tree’s listing, the holders are made of plated, cut glass.
Pottery Barn’s similar design is available in a set of four for $60.

That’s $15 each.
This means that Dollar Tree products, priced at $1.25, are 12 times cheaper.
On the company’s website, the candle holders are rated an average of 4 stars.
“Very pretty,” said one review. “Perfect for our Christmas Eve service.”
Another reviewer liked the holders but was unhappy with their availability.
“Even though I had to go to 15 stores 30 times to get enough of them, they were absolutely PERFECT for my sister’s boho baby shower,” they wrote. “I’m so glad I found them!”
Dollar Tree notes that price and availability may vary by store.
“I have them in every color and they look great with a few tea lights in them, it really makes each color shine,” said another review.

By 2022, Dollar Tree had added the items to over 1,500 locations.
“We believe that testing additional price points above $1 for Dollar Tree products will allow us over time to expand our assortment, introduce new products and meet more of our customers’ everyday needs,” President and CEO Michael Witynski said in a statement.
“Our brand promise is that customers get a lot for their money at Dollar Tree. We will continue to defend that promise with all our might, regardless of price.”
