Sabrina Carpenter may have said in the outro of “Nonsense” that it would be a good idea to stay indoors during her tour this year. During the opening night of the Short and sweet Trek in Columbus, Ohio, it looked like Carpenter was considering cutting it from her performances, at least for now. She performed “Nonsense” in the middle of her setlist and did not play a special outro for the concert, as she has done for many of her performances of the song. Vulture has reached out to Carpenter’s rep to confirm if the outro is gone for good. According to a Genius list, she has done about 118 different “Nonsense” outros since 2022. That’s a lot of nonsense. But we’re all begging: Please, please, please don’t cut the “Nonsense” outro, Sabrina! We hope it’s on installment plan as a Christmas present.

When it’s finally over, here’s a parting gift for Mrs. Carpenter, who had the silly little verse die on the cross for our sins:
