Disney’s live-action remake of Snow White treated fans to double the footage at D23, with a taste of the classic song Whistle While You Work and a teaser trailer featuring the infamous apple. Snow White herself, Rachel Zegler, promised that the film would add “so many” new songs to the poisonous fruit playlist.

Gal Gadot, who plays the evil queen and old witch, was excited about her new role, saying: “She’s delicious. She’s evil. She’s magical. We got to sing all these different songs. It was incredible.”

The first part of the footage was a cleaning montage, where the dwarves and a group of forest creatures were doing some strange work around the house. Cleaning, a woodpecker apparently doing some side work, a hammer, and Dopey cutting up some characters showed that Disney put a lot of emphasis on charm in the remake.

The teaser trailer was a little less lighthearted: The Evil Queen pampered herself in front of her magic mirror and turned into an old woman. Snow White learned a terrible lesson about accepting edible gifts from strangers.

This new version of Snow White is Release planned for March 21, 2025 after delayFilming was not without setbacks after a dramatic fire on set. The Amazing Spider-Man is directed by Marc Webb, while Benj Pasek and Justin Paul are writing the new music for the film.
