A collection of memoirs, probably written by Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ deceased ex Kim Porter was called a fake.

Three of Diddy’s children, Christian, Jessie and D’Lila, whose mother Porter died in 2018 at the age of 47, sharply criticized the recently released book “KIM’S LOST WORDS: A Journey for Justice, From the Other Side…” on Instagram late Tuesday evening, September 24.

In a joint post by the children and Porter’s son Quincy Brownwhich she shared with the musician Al B. Sure! (real name) Albert Joseph Brown), the project published by Amazon was called “untrue”.

“We have heard so many hurtful and false rumors about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship, as well as our mother’s tragic death, that we feel the need to speak out,” the post, which features simple white text on a black background, reads. “Claims that our mother wrote a book are simply false. She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves.”

It continues: “Please also understand that a so-called ‘friend’ who speaks on behalf of our mother or her family is not a friend and does not have her best interests at heart.”

The book is said to have been written by “Jamal T. Millwood” for “Kimberly A. Porter.” Millwood is a pseudonym for Chris Todd, real name Todd Guzzewho said Rolling Stone in an article published on Tuesday that he could not “guarantee the authenticity of the book” after receiving “a USB stick with the book” from two “music industry” sources.

The Instagram post continued: “Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother. She was our world and nothing has been the same since her passing. Although it has been incredibly difficult to comprehend how she could have been taken from us so young, the cause of death has long been established and there was no foul play. Grief is a lifelong process and we ask that everyone respect our wish for peace as we continue to deal with her loss each day.”

Porter died of pneumonia on November 15, 2018. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed in January of the following year that her death was due to lobar pneumonia. Her funeral was attended by 54-year-old Diddy.

The children’s Instagram post continued: “We are deeply saddened that the world has made a spectacle out of the most tragic event of our lives. Our mother should be remembered as the beautiful, strong, kind and loving woman she was. Her memory should not be tainted by horrific conspiracy theories. We ask that everyone respect our mother Kim Porter and honor her legacy so that she can rest in peace. She deserves it.”

The section ended with the words “We love and miss you, Mommy. Quincy, Christian, Jessie and D’Lila.”

An excerpt from the book, which contains numerous typos, was posted on Amazon’s website on September 6. The excerpt described alleged sexual encounters with Diddy and other celebrities, as well as alleged abuse by Diddy.

Diddy’s lawyer Erica Wolf told People that the memoir is “fake,” “insulting” and “a shameless attempt to profit from Porter’s death.” “Chris Todd has no respect for Ms. Porter or her family, who deserve better,” Wolf told the outlet on Tuesday.

Diddy is currently behind bars awaiting his court date on organized crime and sex trafficking charges.
