Diddy jokes about locking women up at parties in a resurfaced interview after his arrest

Sean “Diddy” Combs has come under fire again after a clip surfaced in which he was seen joking about locking women up at parties and limiting air conditioning.

In a resurfaced clip from his 2002 interview on “Late Night With Conan O’Brien,” the rapper revealed some details about how he throws a “killer party” and joked that he has “locks on the door” to prevent women from leaving.

The decision comes amid mounting legal problems that have threatened him since his arrest on Monday. He is accused of crimes bordering on organized crime and sex trafficking, and involving drug-fueled orgies known as “freak-offs.”

“That’s what you have to do,” Diddy told O’Brien when discussing the elements required for his parties. “Women. Beautiful women, of course. Beautiful men for the ladies, of course.”

The rapper added that the list must include “alcohols” and “some water.”

O’Brien then seemed perplexed and asked him why water, to which he replied, “I don’t know if the guys noticed. A lot of women drink water at parties. They figure if you don’t have what they need, they’ll just leave.”

He continued: “They have to stay there. They need locks on the doors.”

The host, visibly uncomfortable, said, “Okay, that sounds kind of dangerous.” Diddy brushed off his comment, quipping, “That’s a little perverse,” before jumping right back in to share his party tips.

In the O’Brien interview, Diddy also noted that the heat is an important aspect of his parties because it makes people “loose.”

“You need a lot of heat. You don’t need air conditioning,” said the 54-year-old rapper. “Heat affects the alcohol and everyone feels a little more comfortable and relaxed and starts to sweat a little.”

O’Brien then interrupted and said, “That just sounds disgusting,” before Diddy finished the list by saying, “You need good music” and “You need me, of course.”

Since Diddy was arrested after being indicted by a grand jury, several controversial videos featuring him have circulated on the Internet.

In a video making the rounds on X (formerly Twitter), Diddy is seen “hanging out” with then-15-year-old Justin Bieber, claiming they “couldn’t really reveal” what they were doing at the time.

“I got custody of him. He signed with Usher and I had legal guardianship of Usher when he made his first album,” Diddy said of Bieber. “I don’t have legal guardianship of him (Bieber), but for the next 48 hours he’s with me and we’re going to go crazy.”

Following his arrest on Monday, prosecutors released a 14-page indictment accusing him of “founding a criminal organization whose members and accomplices engaged in … sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.”

Diddy is currently being held at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, a detention facility that is considered dangerous and in poor condition.

In his bail motion, his attorney, Marc Agnifilo, asked the judge to transfer him to a jail in Essex County, New Jersey, for safety reasons, but the decision on that will be up to the Bureau of Prisons.

According to the Daily BeastNoting that some other courts have “recognized that conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center are not suitable for pretrial detention,” Agnifilo brought to trial a murder case that occurred earlier this summer.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson argued that Diddy posed a serious security risk if released, citing the allegedly unmarked firearms discovered during raids on his Miami and LA homes.

Johnson stressed that the issue was not safety but “dangerousness,” and said Diddy should be denied bail because he allegedly contacted people involved in the case, including singer Kalenna Harper, whom he called around 128 times.

After hearing arguments from both sides, U.S. District Judge Andrew Carter said he was denying the motion because “the government has proven that the defendant poses a danger. Bail is inadequate even if he poses a flight risk.”

Accordingly TMZAccording to sources, the “Bad Boy For Life” rapper is concerned about the couple’s well-being and wants to talk to them. His family is reportedly supporting each other and has turned to God for guidance and strength.

Diddy is the father of seven children: Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, twins D’Lila and Jessie and two-year-old Love.

Quincy, Justin, Christian and Chance are all adults, but the rest of the children are still minors. A news agency reported that 17-year-old twins D’Lila and Jessie have moved in with a friend of their late mother, Kim Porter, in Los Angeles.
