Derrick Henry Age: Where He Compares to Other Old Running Backs

Derrick Henry’s age hasn’t affected his ability to dominate opposing defenses. The Baltimore Ravens running back is in his ninth professional season and is on pace for the second-most rushing yards of his career.

Henry’s ability to maintain his productivity over the years is particularly notable at a position that has one of the least consistency of any football position. Running backs take some of the most hits of any player on the field, which is a big reason why their productivity tends to decline sharply at age 28.

The Ravens’ deficit has gotten over that hump and they are still at an elite level in 2024 as one of the best running backs in the league.

Here’s how Henry stacks up against some of the oldest running backs in the league.
