This is Huck’s second time receiving this award, and his outstanding performance on and off the field further cemented his reputation as an exceptional student-athlete.
To be eligible for this award, student-athletes must have achieved junior student academic status and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00. Winners are selected by the BIG EAST Faculty Athletics Representative Council.
With only one winner in each sport category, Huck represents DePaul as the only student-athlete to receive the 2023-24 Sport Excellence Award. Seton Hall led the conference with four honorees, while Xavier and Villanova each had three honorees.
Huck currently has a 3.628 GPA as a business administration student. In his final year of tennis, Huck posted a record of 14-14 in singles and 19-10 in doubles, earning him unanimous selection to the All-BIG EAST First Team for the second consecutive year.
