Denise Richards performed a fight scene in a movie shortly after her car was shot during an incident of driving aggression

Denise Richards had a lot on her plate when she was filming the action scenes for her new movie, Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace (now streaming VOD on Amazon Prime Video), due to a real-life incident involving a driving hazard shooting.

The 53-year-old former RHOBH actress was “sobbing” and “completely messed up” when she arrived at Popsicle Studio in Hollywood on November 14, 2022 – but she still managed to complete a full 12-hour day of stunt fighting, according to footage from the set unearthed on Thursday and obtained by TooFab.

In the red-lit scene, Denise’s character, a weapons expert, Deborah, is ambushed by one of the undead demons that plague Ali Zamani’s apocalyptic sequel to his $3.2 million-budgeted 2020 film, Angels Fallen.

Richards channeled her shock during her confrontation with the demon (played by Ali Zamani), who appears to be impaled in the face by her elaborate, spiked weapon attached to her wrists.

Moments earlier, the “Hunting Housewives” actress and her second husband Aaron Phypers discovered a bullet hole in the side of his Ford F-150 Shelby truck after being cornered by an “obviously pissed off” man driving a “gold and maroon van,” according to TMZ.

Denise Richards had a lot on her plate while filming the action scenes for her new movie “Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace” – now streaming VOD on Amazon Prime Video – due to a real-life incident of a driving rage shooting.

“It wasn’t like we were cut off. It was just that all of a sudden this guy was following us,” Denise recalled on the SiriusXM podcast “Jeff Lewis Live” last year.

“He was pretty aggressive and Aaron tried to slide over and he pulled over and (the shooter) pulled over. He put his hands up and said, ‘I don’t know what you’re upset about. I’m just trying to get my wife to work.'”

Richards suspected it might have been a case of mistaken identity rather than road rage, but either way she said she was “screaming like a madwoman” at the shooter.

“I didn’t handle it well. I was literally lying on the floor and almost peed my pants,” noted the former Bond girl.

Denise and the CEO of the Q360 Club celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary on September 8th, followed by his 52nd birthday on September 16th.

Richards and Phypers are proud parents of 13-year-old adopted daughter Eloise Joni Richards. She has two daughters – Sami Sheen, 20, and Lola Rose Sheen, 19 – from her two-year marriage to four-time Emmy nominee Charlie Sheen, which ended in 2006.

On June 10, the Illinois-born, California-raised beauty announced that she and her family will serve as executive producers on a new comedic docuseries tentatively titled “Denise Richards and the Wild Things,” which will premiere next year on E! Network.

Lola and Sami were just toddlers when they appeared on Denise’s previous E! reality show, “Denise Richards: It’s Complicated,” which aired for two seasons from 2008 to 2009.
