The tour kicks off in Portland, Oregon on February 25 and ends in Boston on April 8, with stops at the KIA Forum in LA and Madison Square Garden in New York. Mars Volta and Fleshwater will open the shows.

Before that, Deftones will headline the fifth edition of their own festival, Dia De Los Deftones, at Petco Park in San Diego on November 2. Their hand-picked lineup for the festival also includes Idles, Sunny Day Real Estate and Duster, among others.

Deftones keyboardist Frank Delgado said Rolling Stone By 2016, it became clear that the band’s creative engine was based on a certain level of creative conflict. “That back and forth is what makes us our thing, whatever that is,” Delgado said. “We’re different enough that things rub up in a certain way. We also like unsettling feelings. That’s the hard part.”
