Kelcey Weatherberg is only a few months away from dancing to the altar with her fiancé, Nate Crnkovich.
We weekly can confirm that the couple will wed in late December, around Christmas. Wetterberg and Crnkovich recently paused their wedding planning to spend an evening together in Dallas on Sunday, August 25.
Wetterberg rocked a pink fitted bandeau skort romper with pleated detail from PrettyLittleThing for dinner at Mesero at Legacy West, which she paired with white strappy pumps. Her white manicure matched her shoes and she also showed off her dazzling engagement ring. She completed the look with natural glam makeup and wore her brunette locks down.
Crnkovich, for his part, complemented his fiancée’s colorful ensemble by wearing a black and white tie-dye shirt, black pants, white sneakers and black sunglasses.
The duo were all smiles as they walked through the Dallas mall, holding hands and leaning in for kisses. They ended the evening on a sweet note by grabbing a tasty treat from a local ice cream shop.
Wetterberg and Crnkovich both appeared in the Netflix documentary series America’s favorites: Dallas Cowboys CheerleadersThe show, which premiered in June, followed the lives of the 2023 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders squad both on and off the football field.
Wetterberg’s final DCC season and his love life were two major topics of the seven-episode series. Cameras even followed when Crnkovich popped the question during a scenic photo shoot in the park in September 2023.
“Kelc, I love you more than anything in the world and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?” Crnkovich asked on one knee. A tearful Wetterberg nodded in response before saying, “Oh, that’s beautiful.”
Crnkovich later surprised Wetterberg with an engagement party at her home, attended by her friends and the DCC troupe.
Wetterberg had tears in her eyes again as she hung up her DCC uniform for the last time in the season one finale. “I just want to thank you for trusting me and believing in me, because I really think I would have been a lot less confident as a leader if I hadn’t felt like you guys were supporting me, so thank you,” she told the DCC director Kelli Finglass and choreographer Judy Trammell.
After her time as DCC first group leader, Wetterberg continued to work as a nurse in addition to planning the wedding. In June, she announced via Instagram that she had said yes to her wedding dress.
“Found my dream dress 🤩,” she wrote under the pictures of her shopping trip, where she was accompanied by other DCC graduates McKenzie Sherman Hughston And Claire Wolford.
