Ryan Murphy has a new drama-horror series premiering on FX, with a special guest star expanding his acting career.
Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end and boyfriend of pop superstar Taylor Swift, will guest star in “Grotesquerie,” a 10-episode miniseries premiering Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
The 10-episode limited series focuses on Detective Lois Tryon (Niecy Nash-Betts), who tries to find out who is behind a series of crimes and whose crimes torment her. Since she has no clue, she teams up with Sister Megan (Micaela Diamond), a nun and reporter, to find the culprit.
The series premiered in New York on Monday night, and although Kelce himself was not in attendance, his mother, Donna Kelce, told USA TODAY as she walked the red carpet why her son was a good fit for the transition to acting.
“He’s one of those people who’s like a chameleon,” she said. “He can be around people from all different walks of life and adapt to them. He’s always been able to do that, and I think he can learn a lot from all the people he’s been around.”
