Dan Campbell of the Detroit Lions filed a police report after the loss against the 49ers

Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell has faced increasing safety concerns throughout the 2023 season.

The former NFL tight end has become one of the most popular and influential figures in the state of Michigan.

Unfortunately, Campbell’s previous home address was revealed, leading to numerous incidents of harassment.

As a result, the popular head coach decided to move to a private location with his family after the harassment following the loss to the Dallas Cowboys and the surprise defeat to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game.

According to Fox 2 Detroit, “As a prank, someone sent a group of handymen to his house to make repairs that weren’t necessary. After a loss to the 49ers in the last NFC Championship, the harassment increased again. The family filed a report with Bloomfield Township police.”

In a statement, police expressed their hope that fans would respect the privacy of individuals, including celebrities.

“The Bloomfield Township Police Department is committed to the safety of all of our residents. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. We hope everyone, including fans, will respect the privacy of individuals and their families.”

Campbell and general manager Brad Holmes each signed new contract extensions in the offseason after leading the Lions to their first division title in decades.
