Dairy Queen releases a brand new Blizzard menu for fall

On Monday, Dairy Queen unveiled its new Fall Blizzard Treat Menu, designed to turn fall dread into a festive feast — and is even giving away free treats to get everyone in the spirit.

“Whether stopping by for a bite to eat after a busy day of school or satisfying a sweet craving after a fall activity, DQ has always been a destination for families and friends to spend quality time together,” said Maria Hokanson, executive vice president of marketing at American Dairy Queen, in a statement.

As the brand explained, fans can enjoy both “new and returning favorites,” including the seasonally appropriate Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat. Here’s everything you need to know about the returning flavors.

Back again: Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat

As Dairy Queen explained in a press release, the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard is made with “real pumpkin pie pieces” and blended with DQ’s proprietary soft serve ice cream, then topped with whipped cream and nutmeg for some fall flair.

And finally, there’s the Cheesecake Blizzard, mixed with real cheesecake pieces and graham cakes in DQ’s soft serve with strawberry topping.

If these deals feel tempting, you’ll want to hurry because just like fall, these flavors are only available for a limited time. And if you need a little extra motivation to try one, Dairy Queen is also offering a buy one, get one deal. Between September 9 and September 22, customers can snag the Blizzard Treat deal via the DQ mobile app at participating stores across the U.S.

Hokanson added, “With our free BOGO offer, fans can treat themselves to not one, but two Blizzard Treats – it doesn’t get sweeter or tastier than this. With our lineup of Blizzard Treat Menu flavors for fall, there’s something for everyone.”
