CPSC warns consumers to immediately stop using COLOR TREE strollers due to entrapment and strangulation hazards

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning consumers to immediately stop using and discard COLOR TREE strollers because they pose an entrapment and strangulation risk to children. The products violate federal stroller safety regulations because a child’s head can become trapped between the seats and handles, posing a strangulation hazard.

The CPSC has issued notices of violations to importers Karmas Far Inc. of Rancho Cucamonga, California, and SmartTech Mobile USA Inc. of Jacksonville, Florida, for failing to respond to a recall of this product.

The strollers have a black frame and handle and a gray fabric seat and canopy. “COLOR TREE” is printed on the canopy and “Karmas Far Inc.” is printed on the back of the seat frame. The strollers were made in China and sold on Karmasfar.us, Amazon.com, Walmart.com and Ebay.com for $90 to $120 from November 2021 to November 2023.

The CPSC is urging consumers to stop using the strollers and dispose of them immediately. To dispose of the products, first remove the wheels, then remove the handle, fabric seat and canopy. Dispose of the parts in the trash according to local waste disposal guidelines. Do not sell or give away these dangerous strollers.

Report all incidents of injury or product defects to the CPSC at www.SaferProducts.gov.
