It’s clear that everyone loves the Minnesota State Fair, but have you ever enjoyed the fair so much that you included it in your wedding planning?
One couple does it and calls it “A Wedding on a Spit.”
The soon-to-be-weds are Josh Horst and Emi Kaliski, who decided to host a gathering with 175 of their closest friends and family members at the State Fair on Saturday.
Dressed all in green, the group went to the State Fair on Saturday for the pre-wedding celebration and visited their favorite spots, especially the milk stand.
“The milk stand, the oink stand, the milk stand again, more milk stands, because the third time is free,” said Horst. “My mother used to show goats here and since then we have been coming here and looking at the cute animals.”
“We just love the fair,” Kaliski said. “We didn’t want a big wedding ceremony or anything like that and just wanted to invite all of our friends and family to a place we love.”
Although the couple undoubtedly loves the State Fair, they will not be getting married there. The actual wedding is scheduled to take place next week on the North Shore.
