According to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, Jesse Owens of East Rockhill Township was pronounced dead at approximately 3 p.m. Sunday, August 11, at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Cedar Crest.

The cause of death was complications from blunt force trauma to the head, the coroner said.

The accident occurred around 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, in the 80th block of Ridge Run Road, East Rockhill Township, the coroner said.
