    “College GameDay” guest picks ahead of Alabama vs. Georgia

    “College GameDay” named its guest picker ahead of Saturday’s show in Tuscaloosa. And it will be a familiar face to most Alabama football fans.

    Before No. 4 Alabama hosts No. 1 Georgia on Saturday night, Terry Saban, the wife of former Alabama football coach Nick Saban, was announced as a guest selector on the ESPN pregame show.

    “As you know, ‘College GameDay’ is this Saturday for the Georgia-Alabama game in Tuscaloosa,” Terry Saban said in a video Friday. “And I’m looking forward to being the guest picker. That’s why all Crimson Tide fans need to come to Denny Chimes on Saturday morning. I’ve already worked on my picks and I think I’ll beat Nick.”

    After retiring from Alabama in January, Nick Saban joined ESPN and the “College GameDay” team in February.

    Terry Saban will join WWE wrestler Sheamus, former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, South Carolina women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley and country singer Blake Shelton as the sixth guest pick of College GameDay be season.

    ESPN’s “College GameDay” airs Saturday at 8 a.m. from Denny Chimes.

    Alabama vs. Georgia kicks off at 6:30 p.m. at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ABC.
