Coco Jones, Tasha Cobbs Leonard and several other stars come to KC for the Chiefs’ home opener
KANSAS CITY, Missouri (KCTV) – Chiefs fans are in for a treat during their home opener.
Several celebrities will be in attendance. The World’s Largest Tailgate, hosted by Kansas City native Rob Riggle, will begin in the parking lot at 5 p.m. Social media star Funny Marco and SNL star Heidi Gardner, both of Kansas City, will be special guests.
Stand-up comedian Desi Banks will also be joining in on all the fun, as he is a proud KC Chiefs fan. Banks visited Kansas City earlier this year during his stand-up tour and even had a message for Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
“Come to the show. Love yourself. And bring a jersey,” Banks said.
Chiefs Hall of Fame member Dante Hall will also participate in the tailgating event.

At 6:55 p.m., gospel superstar Tasha Cobbs Leonard will take the stage to sing the black national anthem: “Raise every voice“.
The “Put A Praise On It” singer posted about her performance on her Instagram account, saying, “It’s going to be a night to remember.”
Singer and actress Coco Jones will then take the stage at 7:18 p.m. Jones, a former Disney star, will sing the national anthem.

Jones currently stars in the Peacock series “Bel-Air,” a reboot of the popular ’90s sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” The reboot was created from a dramatic adaptation by Kansas City native Morgan Cooper.
