    Cleveland Guardians score against Houston Astros today

    CLEVELAND – There are three goals in Sunday’s Guardians game.

    They are:

    1. See if Jose Ramirez can hit his 40th home run and his 40th double by joining either the 40/40 Club and/or the 40/40/40 Club
    2. Watch Gavin Williams throw out of the bullpen. Nick Sandlin will start the game.
    3. I hope no one gets injured on the way to the playoffs.

    The Guardians are in second place in the American League playoffs, although they still rule out their potential opponent in the ALDS.

    However, there is a risk that Sunday’s game will be rained out as both teams are tied to their current seeds (Guardians 2, Astros 3). Rain is forecast and it’s only going to get worse.

    It’s still raining, a little heavier than the last two days. Another field assessment could take place sometime between 3:45 p.m. ET and 5:00 p.m. ET.

    Sunday’s Guardians-Astros game is officially on a rain delay for now.
