Dundee fans, we asked you for your thoughts after the 2-2 draw with Hibs on Saturday.

Here is what some of you had to say:

Steve: Definitely an improvement on last season, defensively too. I would stick with Billy Koumetio, he has what it takes to be a top centre back. As much as we all love the reliable Jordan McGhee, he shouldn’t start ahead of Ethan Ingram at right back, perhaps a blind spot for Tony Docherty.

Iain: Great game. Dundee should have been finished in the first half hour, they had everything under control. In the second half it was a game of end to end but McGhee should have stayed in central defence. Bad mistake from the manager, he should have kept a winning team. They never give up and were rewarded with the equaliser. This is a great team to watch.

Andy: Another great performance, effort and dedication right to the end. I think the squad is down to three or so players. We need a few more. I can’t wait to see what we can achieve this season.

Kenny: You always want your team to win, but whether they win, lose or draw, entertainment is almost guaranteed at Dundee. You get the feeling that both the players and the fans are having fun.

Kevin: Decent performance from Dundee and a decent game, probably a point per team would have been fair.

Carl: It shows how much we have improved under Docherty when the fans were disappointed not to win today. Big Simon Murray and Luke McCowan were my standout players in an entertaining game, as was the fitness of the whole team. Big Billy Koumetio’s debut shows a little inexperience but he will no doubt improve.

Gary: It feels like we have to blow teams off the pitch to be sure of winning because our starting XI is pretty much all we can rely on. I think the lack of depth in our squad is showing. Although we have injuries, there is no “super substitute” other than the two goalkeepers on the bench that can change a game.
