CINCINNATI – The Reds are hiring Terry Francona as their next manager, according to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com.

Francona, 65, is a two-time world champion. He compiled a 1,950-1,672 record in 23 seasons with the Phillies, Red Sox and Guardians.

He was considered the best managerial candidate on the market. What a huge boost to the franchise.
