CINCINNATI — The Bengals will likely be without Tee Higgins in Sunday’s game against the Patriots.
Higgins suffered a hamstring injury during training on Thursday. It worsened overnight and he did not train on Friday. Higgins is officially doubtful for Sunday’s game, but it would be surprising if he played.
Will Ja’Marr Chase step up and play after practice this week? His participation on Sunday is questionable, and it was said that he would not be decided until the game begins. It seems he is more likely to play, but he added that Higgins’ status would not affect his decision on whether to play or not.
The Bengals are also without their top two draft picks. Amarius Mims (Pec) is trending in the right direction, but will likely wait another week. Kris Jenkins suffered a thumb injury in practice. They thought he could continue playing despite the injury, but he will need surgery and is expected to be out for a few weeks.
